David Hurst – Argentum Refinery Cayman Islands – First Co-Op in the Refinery Industry

This year Pawnshop Consulting Group is proud to deliver up another highly-acclaimed global professional in the precious metals business and much more. David is heading up the Argentum Refinery project currently underway in Georgetown in the Cayman Islands.

Argentum is being developed to be one of the true Global Leaders in the Precious Metals Industry. We will be providing a wide array of services not only including recovery and refinement of precious metals and stones, but we are also offering the first true Co-Operative refinery that will allow all our clients refining with us globally to participate in a profit sharing program.

A little informatoin on David’s background is as follows:

Mr. Hurst is the President of Bactrac Technologies LLC and its subsidiary Premetco Limited. With operations based in Atlanta, Georgia, the company established itself as a international chemical-metallurgical enterprise to process primary, secondary and waste resources bearing base and precious metals.

Its primary function is to provide engineering, manufacturing, procurement and geological field testing services, primarily to mining companies, extractive metallurgical industries and precious metals refineries.

Bactrac implements the use of very creative proprietary technologies to extract precious and base metals from complex ores and materials that are difficult to treat conventionally. These technologies are also involved in the extraction of metal from low concentration polymetallic tailings and the conversion of metallic wastes into valuable metallic compounds.

Bactrac is the parent company to Premetco Limited which specializes in providing specialized equipment, technical training and product marketing for third-world artisanal and small-scale gold mining operations. Operations include Sub-Saharan Africa, former Warsaw Bloc countries, and former Soviet Republics.

Mr. Hurst has held Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer positions in addition to serving on several directorial and advisory boards. He has also owns numerous mining properties throughout Central Asia and Africa specializing in precious metal and polymetallic base metal deposits.

We have updated information for this year’s upcoming 2012 International Pawn Symposium & Conference scheduled for September 9^th – 14^th at the Historic 5 Star – Ritz Carlton Hotel in Georgetown Cayman Islands on 7-mile beach.

We have added two more night stays for a total of 6 nights for this year’s event so that we may all take in some of the many excellent group social functions we are planning for this Historic Event and to enjoy the glamour and beauty of the Cayman Islands themselves.

Moving forward with some of the feedback we received last year in Naples we have shortened up several of our days just a bit so that we can ALL have planned social or family functions together or individually to partake in many of the island hospitalities that are offered.

The Cayman Islands offer WORLD CLASS activities unparalleled anywhere else in the world today. We have tentatively established our dates for the Histsorical Pawn Symposium for 2012.

Our dates are September 10 – 14, Georgetown Cayman Islands – Ritz Carlton 5 – star Hotel on the world famous Seven Mile Beach.

This event promises to be unlike any other event in the history of the pawn world and is a MUST see program.

For thoss of you who were fortunate to particpate in the Pawnshop Consulting Groups Symposium last year at the Ritz Carlton in Naples Florida, you know what is in store for us this year!

For those of you who were not fortunate enough to attend last years, you have another opportunity to come mix and mingle with some of the best and brightest minds the industry has ever seen in a luxurious five star hotel on a world famous beach in the Cayman Islands.

Executive Leadership Camp Dates set for January 2012

I am happy to announce that we have some tentative dates for our first Executive Leadership Camps or “Book Camps” on the calendar for 2012. For those of you who were fortunate enough to attend our historic Pawn Symposium earlier this year we are launching our Executive Leadership Camps.

These are the Leadership and Book Camp type retreats that the founders of the highly successful companies, Value Pawn and LaFamilia Pawn - John Thedford and David Johns have been perfecting over the past years. These concepts were shared at our Symposium earlier this year and we have our first tentative dates scheduled. It does appear there was a lot of demand for these workshops and due to the high-level management level experiences conducted at these events, space will have to be limited.

It is our goal to provide these on a quarterly basis if not with more frequency as we get them developed. Tentatively we have set the dates of January 25th – 27th in Orlando scheduled.

The event includes 3 nights at the target property, two full days of workshops with the masters, books and materials provided, breakfast and lunch for two of the days and we will most likely group dinner out for two of the evenings. Our package price for this event is running at $2250 per attendee per room, additional attendees sharing initial room are billed at $1950 per attendee. The fees include your rooms and meals from the property itself and full attendance to our leadership camps as well. We will provide specific hotel information once we have our contract finalized with them, tentatively we are at the:

We did our initial Email blast today 11/23/2011 and have more than one dozen committed thus far for Camp I. As previously noted we will be providing these on a quarterly basis if not more, dependant on demand and availability of key participants for these engagements.
